What means do people use to access sports content?
The Center’s Study of Sports Fan Behavior and Media Use found that television is by far the most popular means of accessing sports. For those who follow at least one sport in season, 88% typically use television to watch sports.
But other means are popular as well. The PC (computer) and mobile phone are both used by 47%; less popular are tablets and newspapers, which are both utilized by 23%. Radio comes next with 22%.
Least favored are e-mail messages delivered to one’s inbox (11%), gaming systems (7%), and podcasts (4%).
