WiFi provides a convenient service for users to connect their devices to the Internet at home, regardless of their location there. However, respondents’ reports suggest that WiFi is generally used in certain rooms more often than others.
In 2008, respondents who use WiFi at home reported that they predominantly use WiFi in the living room (64% of respondents) and in the bedroom (59% of respondents). WiFi is used less often in the kitchen (34% of respondents) and the den (28% of respondents).
